It looks like the “Back to School” might only be available on Amazon? I really hate to see EAH fade out. The dolls meant so much to me. They began with artistry and detail that was dazzling and beyond my wildest dreams, I would willingly compare them to the Disney Designer Dolls for the common buyer. Now, to watch them fade away is heartbreaking. I love them all so much.
Tea Party Maddie Hatter, Darling Charming, and Raven Queen are at Target for 10 dollars.
Every time I get frustrated with Mattel they throw out a new Raven doll and I'm like, "Okay, I forgive you; ya li’l dickens."
Despite the bodice being molded, they do have some great detail on them. If you look closely at Maddie's left pocket you can see Earl Grey. No articulation. The shoes are removable. The teacup hairband only has a front face, while the back is hollow.
Raven's expression says "I'm smiling through my pain, please send help."

I was losing interest in Ever After High for a while, due to being so disappointed in not being able to find Cupid in local stores, or even in the next province over. The idea that I might have to order dolls online and pay extra for shipping, and worry about whether I could find them or not, just for dolls in a Basic line and not anything special was making me feel disillusioned.
But today I went to Walmart and they had two Cupids, so one of them came home with meeeee! It may be six months after everybody else already got Cupid, but now I have her, too, and she is gorgeous!
I know that Holly and Poppy O'Hair, Cedar Wood, Dexter Charming, and the Hat-Tastic Party dolls have been released already, but none of those are available locally yet. I've got all the dolls that are available locally, but I still don't have the dorm room playsets, and I really want Apple's.
Also, at TRU today there were some EAH cosmetics, none of which I bought, but I might want a lip gloss someday. A girl can never have too many lip glosses, amiright?
Oh, Ever After High, I'll never let my depression about any number of things pull me away from you again. I just can't quit you.
I think I need to reblog all of stitchkingdom's EAH photos from Toy Fair 2014 because I love all the things and I want pictures of all the things around me.
Working two jobs for the next little while means that I don't have much time for posting or for doll-hunting, but it also means that I'll actually be able to afford dolls when I do go shopping.
My local Walmart doesn't have any new Ever After High stuff, but Target did, so I got to see Apple's Fainting Couch and Raven's Destiny Vanity for the first time in real life. I didn't buy either playset yet, though. I bought Legacy Day Raven because she was cheaper there than at TRU, and I got the watercolour portfolio, which should be a lot of fun. They didn't have either of the bracelet kits.
The Ever After High watercolour portfolio and bracelet kits are on Walmart.ca now. I don't have much hope that they'll be at my local Walmart when I go there tomorrow, but a girl can dream, can't she?
