Yeah, pretty much the whole country has ground to a halt because of the snow everywhere! I haven’t been to work since Tuesday because we’ve been closed. A lot of the roads are blocked off by abandoned cars, and lorries that have jackknifed across the whole road.
As a country we are completely unequipped to deal with extremes of weather, especially snow. The police are warning people to only drive in emergencies because of the snow and the ice.
There was about 8 inches of snow probably - which is a ridiculous amount for Britain (especially England).
