Fanworks - or the more specific versions - is already the accepted term for many of us. The people calling it content are in many cases the newbies who don't get it, and many of them probably won't. It's another brand of the same insanity that makes people put other people's stories into ai to "create new chapters"...

“I like you,” Caleb announces out of the clear blue one fine night at the pub, and yeah sure they were all there to get drunk and be flirty but Caleb hadn’t actually taken a sip of anything yet and regardless his alcohol tolerance was super fucking high.

“Well thank you,” Molly purred back, his cheek resting light on the back of his fingers. “I quite like me too.”

“No, it’s different.” The human wasn’t even really looking at him, sky blue eyes just bounced back and forth between their respective hands and drinks.

“Different~ good? Different bad?”

“Different… different.”

Amazing, outstanding, he had such a way with words. “Well now you’ve got me interested,” Molly pressed.

“I like you… like a good book.” Caleb finally lands on the analogy and Molly bites his lip to suppress a giggle at how cute it all was. The human pushes aside his drink and pulls out his most recent purchase from the book store as a reference. “Sturdy,” he says knocking on the hard cover before thumbing gently across the paper. “But still soft. An enticing and detailed cover art but with worlds more to be unveiled inside.”

He opened the book to a random page and let his finger trail through the center fold, still not actually looking at Molly. “Something I can take my time with, something that… brings me peace and comfort… makes me feel less alone and even protected at times.” Pale freckled cheeks flushed with soft dusted pink as he finally looked to the other. “Plus you both smell nice.”

Mollys cheeks had gone from lavender to dark purple to straight up red in a matter of moments. Honestly he would have rather Caleb just told him his tits were fat. “I… well, um, thank you. I didn’t know you had such a way with words.”

Caleb shrugged and sipped his beer. “I was just stating facts I thought you ought to know.”

reason: Honestly they're so similar and would have amazing chemistry in the MCU if it hadn't ruined everything, but in the comics they get alone well and Tony even fixes his arm sometimes; both nerdy dorks that like to tease and flirt and crack jokes and hang out, and I think a lot of things would be better if they kissed. :)

The KIDS act (which contains KOSA) passed the US house, so I would recommend calling your senators and telling them to vote in opposition. I don't think I need to stress the importance of being able to use the internet freely and without privacy barriers being breached.

There are many scripts online you can follow, many ways to tweak your message to fit your senator (ESPECIALLY if they are up for reelection this year). Whether it's a recording you reach or a real person, be straightforward, don't argue, just let your rep know that you are a constituent and you oppose the KIDS act, etc.

Here is where you can search for your senator... call, email, fax, bring them physical letters, show up in person to their offices if you are able.
