2013 Summer Kickoff
WHEW! Since February, two of my buddies and I filmed footage for the latest film project: Butt Dial. Between my day job, traveling here and there and holidays, I finally got all the post-production done and the film launched on May 24th. It was the first project that I did in which I tried to implement everything that a professional film would: pre-production meetings, writes and rewrites of the script, production w/ extra lighting equipment, shot in 1080p HD, recorded foley, designed and mixed sound effects, re-recorded dialog, wrote original music and added digital color enhancement. MAN it took a long time, only being able to do it in between jobs and normal everyday life. But just like any tough art project, I learned a TON! And just like any good artist, I can pick out spots in Butt Dial that I already wish I had done differently. ;) But, the experience will only make my future films that much better. And I also finally upgraded my website! That also delayed the release of Butt Dial a bit, heh heh. But it's much fancier and I like it.
