Thalia yelled for their father, and tried to drag a naked little girl from her brand new bedding that Ealfric had washed that day for her. “Bran, y-you’re filthy!” “A’m nae durti, no baff!” Her little sister clung to a star shaped cushion and smeared dirt all over the covers as she was lifted. Eventually though she was disengaged and handed to the young fae. “C'mon lass. It’s nice an hot.” Ealfric held her up and she bared her little pointed teeth. “No!” She kicked him a few times and he just stared at her with a small smile. Stared through her at what she really was. A few kicks more and her energy subsided. “A’ll join ye, an we cin ha some ice cream after an listen tae Manny read a stoorie. Wud ye like tha?” “..mmmokay. Bu ta iceycream better hae chocky bits in it!!” Later, when Branwen was curled up asleep, Ealfric and Thalia washed her bedding together and made it again with one of the spare sets. They shared a pot of tea and some icecream of their own.
