You know the friendship is real when both of you are crying over how much you love each other.
I had a realization today
It all happened when Scott commanded me to drop my lukewarm naan and placed a hot, fresh piece of naan on my plate.
My realization was this: the reason I don’t have a boyfriend is because all of my friends are so good to me that no guy will ever be able to live up to my expectations of how I should be treated.
I’ve given many examples as to how my friends have been extraordinarily gracious to me—Kitten is always there to give me emotional and mental support and guidance, Kristin has always been the woman I turn to when I need to let off some steam because she will never fail to make me laugh my ass off, Army Boy has friends in low places and offers their deadly assistance at any sign of someone causing me the smallest inconvenience, and Scott can sense when I’m in distress and takes care of me so well that he will go so far as to buy a magic wand to give to me as a Christmas present.
I only want to surround myself with people who make me happy and these people, along with many more, have given me so much to be thankful for. I will always be appreciative of their friendship and all of the kind, thoughtful, generous things they have done for me.
And all of this over a piece of naan at a sketchy Indian food restaurant.
I got tagged in a thing!
Always post the rules.
Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked and write 11 new ones.
Tag 11 people and link them to the post.
Actually tell them that you tagged them
1. Favorite Candy?
Peachie-Os, Reese’s peanut butter cups, and Snickers peanut butter squares.
2. If you had to give up either eyeliner or lipstick, which would it be?
Lipstick. I rarely wear it anyway and my eyes without eyeliner always look a bit squinty.
3. Jeggings: your opinion?
Love. I can dance in them so that is really the factor that made me enjoy them so much. High kicks at a frat house were suddenly an option.
4. What’s the most comforting thing when you’re sick?
Sleep, people telling me funny stories, and my teddy bear named Buttons.
5. Jam or Jelly? Which flavor?
Grape jelly.
6. Have you ever been in love?
Other than that temporary love that I got with strangers on the subway in New York, not really.
7. TV show you HAVE to watch the day it airs?
Scandal.
8. Mac or PC?
Both? I use both for different things.
9. Describe your favorite weather.
Fall weather is usually my favorite. In Tulsa, the wind is always really biting and I kind of love that. I like it when it's really grey with the intention of rain, but it hasn't started falling and you can feel it in the air. Add in the chilly temperature and the notoriously obnoxious Oklahoma wind and that is my favorite weather.
10. Your current music obsession? (song, band, genre, whatever)
I made a mix CD for my aunt to listen to on New Years and It's one of the best ones I've made in a while. Making mix CDs is one of my favorite things to do.
11. You’re on a road trip. Would you rather be the passenger or driver?
I would rather be the driver. If we're ever late I'll get us there early

You know it's true friendship when you let your best friend create a legitimate OkCupid account for you.
eamoma replied to your post: “Apparently Big Oil broke up with his girlfriend this past week. Well,...”:
Did he tell you that, or did you verify it from a different source? Cause shady people be shady.
He told me.
I don't have any sources to his life except him.
eamoma replied to your post: “The worst thing about being on my period-other than a vital liquid...”:
I could never do anything but love my psychic twin.
Awww, Darce, my Life Mate, I love you too.
One of my favorite things is when Life Mate Spock and I do Psychic Twin tarot.
She tells me all my problems by reading my tarot cards while being 500 miles away so I don't have to go through telling the whole story.
This is how you make long distance friendships work, kids.
eamoma replied to your post: “In no universe is Olivia Pope a housewife who fucking makes jam.”:
Idk about that show but I want to be a housewife that makes jam. D:
You're also not trying to keep scandals at bay in Washington D.C. every second of your life.
