You know you're poly when... ... you can't be with your girlfriend on your anniversary so you spend the morning sorting out her other partner's birthday gift. Then in the afternoon your wife hangs out with you at the mall while you look for a birthday present for your girlfriend. All this while you're having a four way messenger chat about which Pokemon you've caught.
My life some days.

Bad Things That Can Happen Without E&O Insurance
When you’re dealing in the business of Property and Casualty Insurance, Life and Health Insurance, or as a Retirement Investment Advisor, a lot is on the line. You are dealing with the financial security of your clients. They are depending on their policies to carry them through periods of crisis on their lives. These types of insurance are meant to provide security for the future. However, there is always the possibility that something can go wrong. If you are not prepared for the worst, you could find your business on shaky ground. Without Errors & Omissions insurance, bad things can happen.
You Need E&O to Cover Your Own Interests You deal in a type of business where you are a preferred-risk financial professional. In essence, you give advice for a living as you handle the assets of your clients. Your services are intended to help your clients to protect themselves in the event that misfortune strikes in the future. However, there is always the chance that you may steer a client in the wrong direction or your client may simply be dissatisfied with his or her personal experience. This is the point when claims may be filed against you or your staff members. If you aren’t prepared with a safety net of Errors & Omissions insurance, you could be in hot water.
The Blame Could Be Heaped on Your Shoulders In your line of work, there is always the chance that someone is going to file a claim, accusing you of negligence or failure to do your job. Whether you are personally targeted or such accusations are made about one of your employees, it can mean a long, legal battle ahead with crushing expenses. Without E&O insurance, you can find yourself sinking in a sea of debt. Between settlement costs and legal fees, you might not be able to keep your head above water. Without Errors & Omissions, you could be dealt a terrible blow. Get the coverage you need and you can move forward with confidence.
Next steps on my poly journey
I often talk about my experience with polyamory as being a journey. This weekend marked the start of a new stage of that journey. Although Rainbow and Eando have been together since before Christmas, Friday was my first time meeting Eando, and the first time the three of us have hung out. It's a new stage on my poly journey as it's the first time I've had to properly share Rainbow. So how did it go? At the end of a long bus journey, at the end of a busy and stressful week, I didn't know quite know how I was going to fare. But the bus journey, work and stress were quickly forgotten. Walming to dinner together, I mentioned I'd discovered a childhood animation favourite on YouTube, Star Blazers. Unprompted, Eando offered to lend me the BluRay of the live action movie version 'Battleship Yamato'. Oh, and when he dropped around later to deliver the disc, he bought the original series on hard drive. Did I mentioned he was wearing a very cool Mass Effect t-shirt when he dropped the movie off? So, as far as 'first time meeting your partner's new...' type things go, I think it went well.
