So seasons change and you get the sniffles or a cough, no big deal. But as you grow older these sickness begin to effect you in different ways.
For the past two years my head colds have been plugging my right ear. This never happened to me before. The only time I ever had a plugged ear was in high school when I would get swimmer's ear, which isn't really a cold just a condition of not getting the water out of your ears after the meet. But now if I get a stuffy nose that "stuff" somehow drains out and clogs my ear, causing it to swell.
Now it use to be I would get a stuffy nose and have a nail drip giving me a cough and sore throat. I would get Broncitious at the worst of it and have to take some amoxicillin and bed rest. I still have to take Amoxicillin (I wish that stuff was over the counter because it really works) but now instead of a raspy voice and the sniffles I have painful ear swelling and discomfort. Not to mention a slight case of vertigo.
The lesson here kids is, don't get old. If you do shit is gonna change and you're gonna have to adapt. And there is nothing more that shows your age than complaining about adapting to new situations.
