Is there a chance that you could pass Cipher Psychosis onto a new writer? Like give them all the plans that you had and let them flesh it out in a similar fashion? I know it's been a project put back on the shelf and it need a lot of work, but it would be cool to see it finished even by a different writer.
Funny you ask this since it has crossed my mind! I think orphaning it would be a great idea, it just comes down to 2 things
I’m still on the fence as to whether I’ll update and I don’t want to give it to someone else if I think I’m going to post another chapter. Not very fair on the other person if they take it on and I decide I want to continue it afterwards. Half of chapter 19 is already written, it’s just been sitting for a quite a long while. At the very least I hope to post that if I’m not able to get CP finished
Second thing is finding someone who would be willing to take it on and do it justice. I suppose if anyone wants to do their own spin on CP, like an AU or whatever else, by all means go ahead! I’m not against any fanfics being made! :) But as for orphaning it, it would take some time to find a volunteer
If I discontinue CP, orphaning will definitely be something to consider as an alternative to releasing my notes. It’s just those 2 things standing in the way right now, but it’s something I’ll keep in mind :)
