im so tired of all these fucking posts about teens getting pregnant or about the glorification of teen pregnancy and all that shit. lets get one thing straight. i was 18 and pregnant. i got called a slut, a whore, a bad influence, a danger to society and countless other names. i lost almost every single one of my friends and ended up having to go it alone, save some help and support from my family. yes, there are definitely some girls who shouldnt have babies at a young age. but there are woman who shouldnt have kids when they are 30. i dont see any glorification. shows like teen mom and 16 and pregnant are constantly ridiculed and put down for "glorifying teen pregnancy" and all i see is a glimpse into the nightmare it is to have children when you yourself is still a child. on top of everything else, i dont see that my age has EVER affected my ability to be a good mother and role model for my daughter. so fuck you. some people make mistakes but that doesnt make them a bad person or a bad parent.
