Ενιαίο τρόπο διδασκαλίας με συγκεκριμένο πρόγραμμα προσχολικής αγωγής θα παρακολουθούν πλέον τα παιδιά ηλικίας ως 4 ετών στους βρεφονηπιακούς σταθμούς της χώρας από το νέο έτος..... Η κυβέρνηση μέσω της ομάδας εργασίας που έχει συστήσει θα εξετάσει και την αλλαγή του ηλικιακού ορίου της υποχρεωτικής εκπαίδευσης στα 3 χρόνια ενώ θα προτείνει ακόμη και τα παιχνίδια που θα παίζουν τα παιδιά κατά τις ώρες που θα βρίσκονται στους βρεφονηπιακούς σταθμούς. Ειδικότερα, σύμφωνα με τα dikaiologitika.gr, έχει συσταθεί μια ομάδα εργασίας προκειμένου πλέον ο τρόπος διδασκαλίας των παιδιών ηλικίας ως 4 ετών να αναβαθμιστεί και να εκσυγχρονιστεί με ενιαίο παιδαγωγικό πρόγραμμα και την εισαγωγή εκπαιδευτικών εργαλείων – παιχνιδιών και βιβλίων – που θα δίνουν τα κατάλληλα γνωσιακά και αισθητηριακά ερεθίσματα για την ανάπτυξη των παιδιών. Σύμφωνα με την Υφυπουργό Εργασίας και Κοινωνικών Υποθέσεων Δόμνα Μιχαηλίδου δεν έχει ασχοληθεί ποτέ κανείς με την ύλη της προσχολικής αγωγής, με το τι κάνουν δηλαδή τα παιδιά, αν και πώς περνούν δημιουργικά τον χρόνο τους στους σταθμούς, ποιο πρόγραμμα και με ποιο περιεχόμενο παρακολουθούν. Συνολικά επιδιώκεται όλα τα παιδιά, ανεξαρτήτως σταθμού, περιοχής και κοινωνικοοικονομικού υποβάθρου να λαμβάνουν τις απαραίτητες για την ηλικία τους παροχές, γνώσεις και ερεθίσματα.
