MC and the RO's are going to have a child. A baby, to be precise. If it's biological, a surrogate/in vitro, adopted, it matters not. Just that they are having a baby.
How would they like to decorate the nursery? As in, the style of crib and furniture, the kind of toys, how gendered or not they would like to decorate, etc. Would they prefer it to be close or far from their bedroom? What is something they would love to include for personal reasons (an heirloom, a symbol of their heritage, a photo, etc). What kind of color pallette would they prefer? Pastels? 50 shades of beige and brown? Something very colorful and playful?
I had more things that were more or less related, but I think I was being too inquisitive for just one ask. So I'll leave it there.
Yeah nonnie this inquisitiveness is enough I don’t know anything about cribs or nursery furniture like if you haven’t noticed I’m not that knowledgeable about kids 💀
Imre: a very extravagant nursery. Has too much that’s not even needed. Hand painted walls. A bassinet. A Persian carpet. It looks like an English child’s nursery from 1900 basically. Close to the bedroom. Nothing personal in there, he thinks it’s personal enough. It’s a mahogany room with whites, beiges and dashes of reds
Nia: the nursery has everything a nursery needs. She doesn’t go overboard. She thinks a baby will not care. Although the crib is expensive. She wants one of those mid century convertible cribs for practically so they won’t have to buy a new bed for a few years. Regular old toys of both boy kinds and girls. It’s a blue room with glow in the dark stars. A picture of her and MC hangs on the wall from their childhood days
Lorcan: he literally just thought they would use a drawer in their room for the baby to sleep in. He thinks a baby won’t need a whole room to themself and they’re poor so they can’t afford it. Even if they had money he still would prefer the kid to sleep in their room in a regular crib with stuffed toys littering the floor
Is it just me or does festive season bring baby fever 😭
