Early mornings have a special energy. Being able to receive the first rays of light in the morning is a caress to the soul. The silence of the mountain, suddenly broken by the joyful celebration of the birds, creates the perfect moment for our minds to sit and be still. There is nothing like the subtle breeze that rises over the mountains and whistles near our ears, serving as a melody for our voices that chant together the rhythm of the breath… what a majestic experience it is to wake up and practice in this space. Thank you @vida mountain for sharing this treasure with the world. We are blessed to be able to host our next retreat in this magical place for New Year: Ananda: The Blissful Retreat. Amrita is a Sanskrit word that can be translated as Nectar. Practicing at the Brahma Muhurta (1,5h before sunrise til 1,5h after the sunrise) is something like a good medicine. Good medicines don’t taste very good, because they have potent herbs, we resist to take them, but once we do we start feeling something is changing, you still don’t know what exactly is happening but you know something is transforming inside. Sometime after taking it, it starts to be more clear how deep it is working in your body’s chemistry, but the real nectar of the medicine starts to be manifested only after taking it with consistency for an extended time, just like yoga practice (dirgha nairantaira).
