I can’t really ignore it anymore when a dog keeps scratching its ears. My dog did that before like nonstop scratching, shaking his head out of nowhere and I didn’t think much of it at first. But something about it felt off after a while. Turns out it could be ear mites, which honestly stressed me out since it can spread to other pets too, not just dogs but even cats, ferrets, rabbits… yeah, that made me way more careful than I used to be.

Now I try to notice the little things more. I check his ears here and there, try to keep them clean, nothing too fancy. I also use a Halo Collar, mainly for tracking, but it kinda helps me pick up on changes in his behavior too. I’m not super strict about it, but just being more aware has definitely made a difference he seems more comfortable overall.
