What. The. Fuck. Those messages.. I will never understand how people can think it's ok to say things like that to another person, especially over fictional couples.

Right? And I'm publishing this on purpose because whenever I am informed that it's my fault there are ship wars, and it's my fault ship wars start, I just look back at those messages, because it makes it seem like it's 100% alright for those people to send those messages but not alright to defend myself.

This is how our fandom thinks, apparently, and it's wrong. It is victim blaming. They are blaming ME, the victim, instead of blaming the people who send the hate.

While yes, I explode from time to time, but I am HUMAN. I can only handle so much before I just... can't take it anymore. I could never blame anyone for being angry after spending two years one tumblr getting nothing but hate and death threats in their ask from one group of shippers. You're allowed to have a limit. You're allowed to explode. If you don't, then those things will only eat away at you, and then the haters really win.
