The Happiest Place on Earth

I had a very busy December, including one craft fair and Christmas commissions for five people, besides making gifts for my own family.  After all that busyness, I really needed a vacation!  And where does a self-professed Disney junkie go to relax?  Disney World, of course!

Before I left, I made myself a pair of Minnie Mouse ears from All About Ami's super cute pattern.  The pattern was simple and easy to follow, and I received many compliments on my yarnie ears.

I had an amazing time visiting all four parks, watching my favorite shows, and riding my favorites rides - Soarin' in Epcot, the Kilimanjaro Safaris in Animal Kingdom, Toy Story Mania in DHS, and the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, my favorite Disney character is Rapunzel.  I was very excited to find that the Disney Imagineers had turned a corner of New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom into the town square from Tangled.

They even had Rapunzel's Tower!

I really enjoyed my time at Disney World - it was a great way to de-stress from December and refresh myself for the new year.  Happy 2015, tumblr!
