gwendolyn and noir playing uno <3

ive been thinking about gwendolyn's art style, and while all my art of her so far features full colour, im thinking of doing a noir-style alternate version- like how in his comics noir's universe is in colour, but in itsv its completely b&w even though the events are mostly the same. so i reckon gwendolyn has two universes one in colour and the other entirely sepia toned. i like to think sepia gwendolyn is the one with any spiderverse interactions at all because its sillier :3

its sepia btw because of how photos at the time worked. if noir is b&w because of television and print comics then gwendolyn is sepia because of the photographs of the era

i only really invented him today but earth 284 peter ily so much 🫶🫶 trying to channel peter's mix of total loser and genuinely cool guy but without the super powers and shoving all that into an edwardian teenager and its hard but i like to think i nailed it personally

earth-284 prowler concepts :3 this one is ofc based on aaron davis, but i might do one based on the original hobie suit as well idk. regardless! i wanted to go more steampunky with this one since prowler is all about the technology not his own powers, plus i just love steampunk lololol

i loosely traced over a picture of itsv prowler for the pose bc i just wanted to focus on the costuming and silhouette rather than attempt drawing him from scratch

her veil and goggles are based on motor dusters, which were made for cars at the time since they usually didnt have sufficient windshields and the roads were dusty, but i think it fits both the whole secret identity thing and the swinging round the city very fast thing.

i imagine gwen's pointe shoes are more like trainers designed to look like pointe shoes rather than the real thing, just because those things are expensive as hell and wear out immediately, but anyways i like to think gwendolyn never considered anything other than practical boots, but saw gwens blue pointe shoes and fell in love. only problem is her sepia world doesnt account for blue shoes, so the moment gwen mentioned switching shoes she went to shoot her shot 💀
