hey! life has been treating me pretty decently recently (I can’t resist the rhyme) ✌️ I had to put on my semi-adult cloak and go to my first job interview yesterday which was super scary but managing to do it without crumbling from anxiety felt awesome. Hope life is treating you well too! Also, your description made me laugh haha
The Compliment Challenge:
This is because I've been thinking about how many compliments people give us throughout our lives that we just discard, ignore or forget. It's so easy for us all to remember the insults. Just one negative thing can change our entire view of ourselves and shatter our confidence for years. So I wanted to get everyone to REALLY think about all the nice things people have said about them, no matter how small or weird. It took me a while to think of 10 things, but I felt really good in the end. We all tend to instantly block praise and positivity, but it's so important that we don't.
So write 10 compliments you remember getting, even if you don't really believe them or you don't think they matter anymore (like your mum said you were an amazing artist when you drew a picture of a horse for her when you were 6 yrs old), it doesn't matter, it's all about how YOU felt hearing those words.
When you're done, tag some people (as many or few as you like) and then send them a message, that includes a compliment, telling them they're tagged.
I'm hoping it will help us all believe the good stuff people say about us as much as we're willing to believe the bad.

1. Favorite meal? Sandwiches.
2. Walking barefoot or with shoes? It depends on the shoes, otherwise, barefoot. but I live decently close to NYC so there aren't very many bare foot supporting areas, so that sucks.

4. Sun or moon? Depends, mostly sun.
5. Why you got tumblr? I don't really know anymore, No one talks to me much, and I have lots of stuff to do lately.
6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Either in some random place somewhere on the globe like in a swamp or a desert or coding and managing content on a webpage I am a partial owner of and working a day job.
7. Favorite place to be? I quite enjoyed my time in china studying martial arts, and even more specifically the shaolin temple. I also enjoy Long island quite well.
8. if you had to throw away your cell phone how would you feel? well, I'm doing that next week for an 81 day mountain climbing, bouldering, ice climbing, and canyoning/mountaineering so that doesn't bother me all that much, but it's a very useful tool having a smartphone.
9. Did you enjoy/are you enjoying high school? well, I had a pretty amazing school with a massive variety of courses which was really awesome, however I still hated it because my style of learning didn't jive well with the classic education system displayed around the globe these days.
10. How long has it been since you last spent time outside? about 20 minutes lol
11. Do you wanna build a snooowmaaaaan? It depends on the blueprints/how much effort you're willing to put into it with me. I'd prefer a masterpiece if possible, otherwise i'd be happier building a slide up to the 2nd story window, or the roof, or a snowboarding course through the woods. my questions: When you're feeling stuffy and bored what can you do that always sharpens your moods? Are you interested in visiting space one day? What's your favorite ingredients to put on a sandwich? do you like to sleep with a thick quilt or a general blanket? what traits do you find attractive in people?
