if anyone had told chelsea her life would go from monotony in the city to this, having her own farm and having a conversation with a being one could consider a deity, she would have laughed and forgotten all about it. but here she was doing exactly that.
"I just don't think you'd care so much if you lacked a heart." the farmer shrugs. the harvest king ( the harvest goddess, too ) were not always easy to understand but they cared for this land. they wished to see it thrive. "maybe you don't have heart physically — " did they? chelsea wondered about that. there's a passing desire to press her hand to the harvest king's chest. to feel the pulse of a heart. "to care means to have a heart, surely?"
