Soft scents of perfume curled through the air like the stems of flowers curving toward an unseen sun as the older woman paused her imperious gait beside the delicately carved dressing table. As she twisted her head to lift her chin and reveal the softly painted visage of her features, the nearby lamp cast its soft glow across her piled hair settled atop her head with a secured decorative comb. Her painted fingers plucked at the strap of her dress, before she lightly tossed it aside, the expensively ruched fabric sliding down her dimly lit skin to reveal her shoulder and the pale grey vitalus reservoirs beneath.

“Natalya.”

A chuckle lilted from her metallic throat as she curved her neck to settle her lidded gaze upon the frozen man behind her. “Oh, Alexei,” she drawled, a fondly condescending note curving through her voice. “So well I know how to play you, as though you were the familiar keys of an ancient piano.” She settled her fingers along the curl of her cocked hip, and she poked her tongue out at him, one of her eyes slipping closed in a teasingly mocking wink. “Ever the predictable one you are. Always so susceptible to the same presentations.”

ooc; Throughout the young years of Alexei upon Grismara, and into the early years of his marriage with Chandler, Alexei enjoyed the company of many varying partners, the numbers of which were aided by his spoiled and wealthy upbringing as well as his polyamorous orientation. Often did those partners seek to fluster the alchemy researcher from his clinical countenance, yet only few discovered the true secret to casting aside his composure - wanton, blatant professions of attraction and longing, the type that even he could neither ignore nor deny.

Although Chandler has retained all of his previous relationships since their pledging ceremony, Alexei forsook his other romantic attachments once Chandler fell ill, all of his focus settled upon his ailing husband. The last ten years Alexei has remained devoted solely to Chandler, which has caused Chandler to worry highly for Alexei’s well being in the event of his eventual passing. Very little flusters Alexei any longer, as his dismal outlook upon the world has continued to sour over the years of his husband’s illness.
