Joyeuses Pâques 🐣🐇
When Algy woke up on Easter morning he thought that perhaps he had slipped back in time and in fact it was Christmas rather than Easter Day, for the hills and islands around him were all completely white…
A storm called Dave had swept over northern Britain on Easter Saturday, its friendly name belying its ferocious nature, for it had brought many hours of snowfall and icy temperatures to Scotland… including to Algy's home on the supposedly "mild" west coast, where snow was relatively rare, even in the depths of winter.
But although the bitter north wind remained strong, bringing further torrential showers of white hail and snow at times, the blanket of snow at sea level soon began to melt as the day advanced, although the temperature remained close to freezing. And when Algy flew over to his assistants' house from the beach – where he had spent the night curled up in a sheltered sand cave beneath the dunes – he was surprised to see that much of the ground around their home was free from snow, although there were still large white patches in places.
Wishing his assistants a very Happy Easter, Algy proceeded to look around their garden, as he wanted to know how far spring had advanced while he had been away, and he was surprised to see that the early pink camellias had been flowering unusually well this year, although many of their petals had now fallen.
But when he flew over to inspect the flowers more closely Algy got an even greater surprise, for no sooner had he paused to rest on a chilly but very pretty carpet of pink petals, than not one but two Easter Bunnies hopped out of the nearby bushes and presented him with decorated papier-mâché Easter eggs full of tiny, brightly coloured, sugar-coated chocolate eggs… it must indeed be Easter Day, and not Christmas! 😀
So Algy sends you all lots of fluffy Easter hugs, and wishes you all a very happy and peaceful Easter Day 🐣🌸🐥 🌹
Happy Easter Everyone!
Donald Duck and his family become Easter bunnies - My redraw from the Donald Duck comic book cover - Tribute to Francisco Rodriguez Peinado - Happy Easter! - Duck comics and Duckverse - My version - Also happy birthday to me!
I'm back, this time hopefully finally! Unfortunately, I had some difficulties in the previous weeks, so unfortunately I didn't manage to draw what I wanted, but I still managed to do it for today since it is certainly the biggest holiday, next to Christmas for all Christians around the world, which is Easter. Admittedly, there are those who celebrate according to the Gregorian and Julian calendars, so Easters diverge, and sometimes they are together. Last year they were together, this year they are a week apart. Today is Palm Sunday, the day Jesus entered Jerusalem. I certainly wish everyone celebrating today a happy Easter!
Yes, on this day Jesus Christ was resurrected (according to certain research, as well as Isaac Newton's research, the then Nissan fell on the first week of April 33 AD and that Jesus died on April 3, 33 AD, which means that Jesus resurrected then on April 5, 33 AD), so today is certainly an extremely important day because we celebrate Christ's victory over the devil and death and that whoever believes in Him has eternal life.
Another reason why today is a special day, besides Easter, is that today is also my birthday (April 5), so happy birthday to me and I am very happy that I celebrate both Easter and my birthday on the same day and it is a special honor for me to celebrate it today. I thank dear God that I can use my drawing talent through my drawings.
Since today is Easter, I decided to draw a cover from a Donald Duck comic drawn by the genius Francisco Rodriguez Peinado (one of my favorite artists), and it has to do with the Egmont comic where Donald Duck takes a spray can and turns himself and his family into rabbits. So I decided to draw this in my own way of Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Scrooge McDuck and Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck becoming the Easter Bunny and celebrating and celebrating Easter together! I also added Easter eggs in there and Huey eats carrots (you know bunnies love to eat carrots). ;) Hope you like this!
If you like this, feel free to like and reblog this, just don't copy these same ideas of mine without mentioning me! Thank you! I also wish everyone a Happy Easter! And of course happy birthday to me! :D And yes I'm back again! :D And thanks to Francisco Rodriguez Peinado for the great idea that inspired me to draw this. :D
Happy Easter, everyone!
Happy Easter!!!
Happy Easter from the Grayson Family :)
