Day 244

“I’m here for the cute things.”

Like Valentine’s Day, I don’t actually celebrate Easter as an adult.

(Though as a child that is a completely different set of stories.)

However, I love cute themed things, especially cute edible sweet things. This is also why Christmas tends to be my faourite holiday because everyone makes themed Christmas things for Chirstmas.

Very specifically though, I love baked goods and the occasional ice cream. There is a bakery and an ice cream shop across from me. I know I will go out of my way this weekend to buy something from that bakery that is Easter themed to have over the weekend, because that brings me a lot of joy. Not just eating it, but it always felt more special and more fun to eat something that is cute and themed.

This is also probably the reason why I brought the Earth Day themed ice cream the other day to eat.

(Also because I like the colour blue, and I like matcha flavoured things like shortbread.)

I am very here for the cute things, but also for the sweet things in life.
