EASTER - Kinds of Fruit

While often dealing in wholesale vague, the Berlin odd-pop duo get more political in their latest track “Kinds of Fruit”. While not completely eschewing their love of food and its texture, the solitary narration of Stine Omar’s robotic coax is set to the background of a protest over abortion. Dedicating the track to the “Abortion Support Network”, an NGO that provides safe and free abortions, the hollow hammer beats over Omar’s carefully-enunciated lyrics as she is joined by her partner Max in same hair and costume for the single.
