Review: I didn't write a review on GoodReads for some reason, but let’s see what I can remember and talk about...
This is a goth x “popular” girl shipping. It involves sexual assault and attempt at rape towards the main girl, and that’s actually how the main character meets - not because he tried to rape her, but because he saved her. You end up finding out the main guy has been intrigued by the main girl a long time beforehand, and he has his own book (Book #2) in his POV. To be honest, I loved that version more but this book is still good and you need to read this book before that one.
It's a major slow burn. This book is honestly a really good book to teach others how to get over trauma. It may touch on difficult topics, but it's so beautiful and very respectfully written. 5 stars.
