Baked Chicken and Rice
This recipe is insanely simple and some what bland. This dish is great for those with upset stomachs or their doctors told them to go on the bland diet.
-6 skinless, boneless chicken strips - 1 Can Cream of Mushroom soup -2 cups instant rice, uncooked -Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375. Empty contents of soup in an 8″ x 8″ pan. Stir with 1 can full of water until its as close to blended as possible. There will still be some chunks but that’s ok! Add in the rice and stir, making sure all the rice is covered. Add the chicken in one at a time, make sure to bury them in the rice/soup mix. Its ok if they touch! Bake for 30 minutes.
Hanabi’s Notes: Feel free to try other “cream of” soups! They work just as well! To make it less bland, try adding other canned vegetables and spices such as garlic and onion powder!
