I've been working with nutritionist, @lindseykee for a couple of weeks now. I have observed over the past two weeks that I prefer to drink my calories instead of eating them. __ It threw me for a loop because I love to eat, but I've found throughout the process that I actually don't. I eat because I have to eat. The upside is that I prefer good food over junk food. The downside is I usually wait until I'm starving to eat. I get caught up in my day to day and forget to eat breakfast. Lunch I'll grab a salad or a meal at a local spot. Based on that meal it will determine if I eat dinner or not. I've found on a good day that I'm eating approximately 1500 calories a day. You would think I would be smaller, but I'm not because I drink my calories. In between coffee, water, and the occasional bottle of wine or soda, that's the range of my diet. Crazy huh. I am thankful for Lindsey because she's training me how to eat properly. __ It's crazy that I've been eating like this for such a long time and that it seemed reasonable. You would think that I had an eating disorder but I don't. After years of dieting and signing up for every eating plan known to man, I simply don't know how to eat properly. She's been amazing as she's working with me along the way. How has yo-yo dieting influenced your eating plan? Good or bad? #somethingsabouther #eating101 #foodis (at Avondale, Arizona)
