✽ I see You | D + F

With delicate fingers, she ran the tips through her long tresses that were somewhat curled and finally different shades of light brown and blonde --- She had been needing some change for quite some time now, change that she felt was necessary for her. As she walked, she kept her eyes peeled --- She was in search for Derik, but that was a secret to anyone who would ask her what she was doing. She had been wanting to see him, to show him what she had done and get his opinion if he liked it; Because deep down, his opinion was one that was starting to really matter to her. 

Fleur turned corners and continued to walk freely throughout the hallways before leaving and making her way out towards the campus grounds where she could hear cheering and saw a group of students circling around one particular person. At first the thought of a fight crossed her mind, and she wasn’t too keen on seeing that whenever she had much better things to be doing right now --- But whenever she saw past an opening she realized that no one was fighting, but instead who she was searching for was right in the middle of everyone. 

With each step drawing her closer, she could see more clearly now that it was in fact Derik, and he was doing pushups in front of this big gathering --- At first, she thought about continuing on her own way but figured she would just stay and watch him because she was looking for him anyways. As she came to a halt, she crossed her arms over her chest and continued to watch the other do what he was doing. Her eyes scanned the faces of other female students and even male students who were in just complete awe of him, but she immediately looked away, trying not to seem to obvious before allowing her gaze to fixate on him as he continued to work out, the thought of joining him forming in the back of her mind.

Opia

meme: obscure feeling. status: accepting!

Opia: The ambiguous intensity of looking someone in the eye, which can feel simultaneously invasive and vulnerable.

Eyes were captured by the oh so alluring dark hues belonging to no other than Derik — Hypnotized really, making her feel almost as if she was someone else by simply looking at him. Dreams were invaded now by the man she was stuck staring at, and did he know she was staring as she sat a couple tables away from him? Yeah, he knew.

He was staring too.

His look easily bringing goosebumps to her skin — and a smile soon gracing her features as she kept that very gaze locked in on his own. She felt so many different emotions whenever she looked to him — Vulnerable, nervous, attraction, lust, you name it she felt it all. 

Stop staring.

Stop staring…

Just stop fucking staring, Fleur~!! 

She kept telling herself, her voice loud in her mind but she couldn’t tear that gaze away from the man who was in front of her just a couple of feet. She couldn’t do much of anything but look to him and admire from afar, and quietly admire. 

Fleur could feel her heart skip a beat, even at a distance he could do that — What was wrong with her… After a few more moments she was able to finally find it in herself to look away from him and down at her hands as they folded together on the table. It took everything in her to do that, but it was best that she did so; Nobody needed to question her today if she had a staring problem because she might have to agree with them that she did ( especially whenever he came into the room ).

✽ Stargazing | D + F

The next morning after her whole ordeal ( getting drunk for the first real time, getting randomly attacked by a wannabe asshole, meeting Derik, and acting like a complete fool in front of him ), she reflect upon everything and decided it was most definitely different and kind of fun. She woke up to her normal alarm, got a shower and got dressed all while she suffered the worst headache she’s ever had. She knew it was possible to get hungover, but she was secretly hoping that this was one thing she wouldn’t of had to deal with and it would have skipped right over her.

But, alas it was a hangover and she was regretting every sip of alcohol she enjoyed.

She did as he said the night before, not to skip any classes and went on with her day as if nothing happened to her --- The young female remained quiet, and went to every class she had, turned in assignments that she owed, and went on with the day like it was any normal one. As soon as the bell rang for the last classes for some, she slipped away because it was now her free period and end of the school day for her. Fleur could faintly remember Derik mention he was a teacher ( and oh god how embarrassed she became once she realized it after she was sobered up ), and decided she would just up and surprise him at the end of his day and take up his offer to go watch the stars together this evening. 

She didn’t exactly know where his classroom was and spent awhile searching around the school grounds for it before finally hitting the jackpot and seeing the door with his name written right there on a small plaque and Heroics 101 in bolded letters. Oh boy, he really was a teacher and not just saying that. She bit down on her lower lip before laughing at herself for ever doubting that and leaned back against the wall, occasionally glancing at her cell phone to see what time it was and finally ~

ring.....

The bell sounded and students came flying out from the classrooms and down the hallway, and Fleur just remained right there staring dead on at the door leading to Derik’s room; Waiting for him to emerge alone.

✽ Hero | D + F

It was her first party ( aside from the ones her mother and father had for special occasions ), her first sip of alcohol which lead to many after that. And now, the usual clear minded Fleur was inebriated with cloudy thoughts and a goofy smile plastered across her face — Everything was just so new to her and she wanted to experience it all and really lose herself for once in the night. 

Arm was draped around the girl who had brought her to the party, and the duo was heading back inside to the restrooms so her newfound friend could relieve herself before returning to the party. As Fleur leaned against the cold wall outside the opposite facing restrooms she could see a dark shadow approaching her from the corner of her eye — She didn’t think anything of it, since there were more people hanging around all over the place ( people had to use the restroom whenever they’ve consumed lots of alcohol ), it wasn’t like there was anything out of the normal. 

And then…

“It’s you!” She tilted her head in the direction the voice was coming from and saw a very blurry image of the boy she put in his place earlier — Obviously back to get revenge for Fleur embarrassing him in front of everyone. She wasn’t one to put up with assholes trying to take advantage of her friends. Nor did she usually let anyone mess with her — But right now, in that very moment she wasn’t in her right mind to take care of herself and instead swayed a bit when he stepped closer. He pinned her against the wall and all she could do was barely bring her hands up to clench his shirt, and even doing that she was weak and incapable of keeping her hold on him. 

“You’ll pay for making me look like a fool earlier, you bitch!” —- She wanted to fight back, but couldn’t. She couldn’t even speak and when she did it just came out as a low groan and a few slurred words that weren’t audible. Her thoughts weren’t even clear, they too seemed slurred and incoherent. All she wanted now, as she was kept pushed against the wall and as the disgusting male student kept his face right there beside hers was for someone to save her like she was usually able to do in others times of need. She needed someone. 

I need a hero..

If you could go into the future for one day, what are you expecting to see?

“nothing.”

the answer comes honestly and without any hesitation, causing her to chuckle softly with a forced smile and sad eyes. “maybe it’ll be all black.. or all white.. but i’m sure a look into my future won’t be anything worth while.”

27. If you could go into the future for one day, what are you expecting to see?

- “That’s easy. My legacy dictates that I have to sleep for a hundred years because a spell has been put on me so my future is pretty much set. But I’m hoping that after that, I’ll still have family friends by my side and perhaps start a family of my own.”

- “Lawful good.” 

28. If you had the opportunity to write a letter to someone you had hurt, what will you say?

- “I’m sorry that I didn’t listen to you when I should have. I’m sorry that I only thought about myself and not about you. I’m sorry for hurting you. In the time we’ve spent apart, I was hurting too. I hope we can find an understanding between us someday but if not, I wish you all the best.” 

20. Who is someone you love?

- “I’m pretty sure everyone still knows the answer to this question, sir. Call me a hopeless romantic but I still believe that there can be a happy ending for a hero and a villain.”
