Hey! So I've been following u on youtube for a while now. I was wondering where can I get inexpensive & quality binders? Also how do I bind my curves? I want to fit into my boy clothes better. Thanks!!
hello! thanks for watching/following. :)
when you say “inexpensive”, how inexpensive are we talking…? the most inexpensive binders by far can be found on eBay. i have even seen many positive reviews etc about various cheap (ie. $5~$15) eBay binders, so if you are really short on money and just want something to tide you over until you can get something better, i’d recommend those binders as starting points. even if they turn out to not be what you’re looking for, at least you wont have spent much.
if you can afford to spend a bit more than that, there’s Soheva binders, which range from $14~$27. Underworks, a very well known and loved brand, has binders ranging from $29~$39.
in terms of quality, i’m sure Underworks beats the other two, but it’s up to you to decide which, if any, you want to go with.
as for binding your curves, i’m assuming you mean your hips…? i’m fairly certain that it’s impossible to bind your hips as you can’t really flatten them down as you can with your chest. the best that you can do, as far as i’m aware, is dress yourself in a way that makes them less noticeable. like wide-legged pants and loose-fitting tops, for example.
when it comes to fitting clothing that is intended for boys or men, that may mean buying a larger size than you otherwise would. sadly, clothes made with boys/men in mind don’t often accommodate such curves. however, in buying larger sized clothing you may very well run into other kinds of problems…
i’m afraid curves are a tricky thing to deal with, but i’m sure with some creativity and experimentation you’ll find something that helps you.
wishing you all the best!
edit: finally found the post i'd been looking for! this may help re: sizing of clothing intended for boys/men.
