@ebcnylead asked: "He reminds me so much of pink. So much passion despite others view of him. I wasn't there for her when she really needed me. I want to be there for zim. To support and protect him. I want to be good mother this time around."
Dib couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He wanted to ignore it, he wanted to just get up and leave. But he couldn’t. His stupid sense of empathy was too strong. He’d be better without it, but it still compelled him to hear Ebony out. The way she talked about Zim, genuinely cared about him, and the way Zim cared about her, Dib didn’t get it. It was confusing. She was an alien who wanted to protect the biggest threat to the earth, Dib’s home. She wanted to support the alien who had captured, taunted, and made his life misery. But the more she talked, the more Dib saw. It made his head hurt. Could he really fault a mother?
The answer, in Dib’s mind was yes. Of course it was bad! She should be right behind Zim on his enemy list, of people he needed to stop. But Dib couldn’t summon any harsh words towards her. It was complicated, she was supporting a green menace who wanted to destroy them all, but she was doing it out of regret and love. It was a force Dib couldn’t comprehend, the love of a parent to that degree. He should be writing this down and using it as a weakness of Zim, to somehow get to him through Ebony. But he didn’t want to.
“But-”
“He-”
“Destroy-”
All these words came out as he tried to stammer through what he was going to say, but he couldn’t say it. “You are a good mother.” He finally said, and he was relieved he didn’t stutter. “Just, Zim is,” Dib had so many words he wanted to say. “Complicated.”
“I don’t want him to destroy my home.”

Everything hurt, pain coursed through Catra’s body but it wasn’t something that was physical a pill or drug could numb. Emotional pain struck her yet again as the one person she had talked to, had shown some kind of care for her still, left her. Used her and left like she wasn’t worth anything. It only proved to Catra that the Horde didn’t care for her, that she shouldn’t bother showing kindness if all that gave her was betrayal. Even with this new recruit that Hordak had brought in, it only left a bitter, sour, taste in Catra’s mouth. Another Shadow Weaver, another higher up to push her around and manipulate her emotions. The feline has had enough of all of these ‘kind’ and ‘caring’ types when she knew they’d all just stab her in the back in the end.

“You’re a mother?” Black Star found that a little hard to believe, but she had no reason to call the other a liar. She recoils back when the other reaches for her back. “Sometimes I think that.. but then I remember I’m down here for a reason” the feline sighs, ears lowered.

A quick smash-and-grab. That was all this little excursion was meant to be; Tak would simply slip past Zim’s defenses, grab whatever plans he has laying about, maybe break a few of his devices, and get the hell out of dodge. If this went smoothly, she’d be out in less than 15 minutes; of course, she didn’t anticipate getting her foot caught on the windowsill like a common idiot. She let out a small gasp as she felt herself tumbling forward, her face making direct contact with the floor.
“Urgh...,” the Invader slowly got to her hands and knees, rubbing her head. Her breath hitched in her throat as she laid eyes on the woman in front of her. “Who...who are you, and what are you doing in Zim’s house?”
@ebcnylead Was visited!
Spinel often would spend her time around Homeworld learning about everything that happened while she was gone. Going on tours, spending time with other gems, and definitely visited and playing with the other Diamonds. While she knew they were also busy doing their own tasks she would still always make time for them. In this case she was on her way to visit Black Diamond, taking one big step after another she walked into their quarters. The door gliding open and the small rubber gem taking a big ol’ step inside.
“Hey Black? Are ya here?” Spinel would call out, not too loud so she wouldn’t startle the Diamond if she was wrapped up in her work.

“ZIM GETS A THRONE?!?!”
His eyes practically sparkle as he hops up and down much like an over excited smeet. “OUUUU thank you, My Diamond!”

home sweet home.. it felt like a big relief, to finally be able to enjoy some time away from all the important gem stuff he’d been doing, to focus on earth and human activities instead. he’d picked up his ukulele the first chance he’d got, and found somewhere quiet to play, enjoying the solitude and calming atmosphere. it didn’t take him long to realize he wasn’t alone, though, and he opened his eyes with a smile, letting out a gentle, happy breath.
“hi black.. it’s good to see you again!”
