So, I have some bad news. My laptop’s hard drive decided to break and it’s had to go to the repair shop. It’ll be fine in the end; the problem got picked up early, so I had the chance to back up everything and lost nothing. But it means that no stories are going to be posted until it’s fixed and back in working order.

So, @mastabas-and-mushussu, the bad sans poly you requested is going to be delayed. I was in the middle of writing it when it stopped working. The anon who just sent in a request for a continuation of the mental hospital Bad Sans Poly; it was already on my list, but it’s definitely going to be a while now. I can’t even post the story I had finished and planned to post this week.

I’ve been told that I’ll probably get it back within a week but, suffice to say, this blog is going to have a small break until my laptop is fixed. I’m sorry for the disappointing news and I hope you all stay patient until things get back on track.

I reread your latest Bad Sans Poly fic, and it is truly one of the best fics I have read to date. Your characterisation of Cross is one of my favourites, and the way you write each scene brings me such joy. And that last bit, with Error the destroyer of worlds who likes knitting and soap opera cracked me up and I love it a lot.

Okay, this was really flattering, thank you so much for your kind words! Oh gosh, do I love Cross and I’m glad you like how I portrayed him. Well, he’d get more open and comfortable with the others as time went on, but at that point, he was sticking very closely to his guard training. I kinda HC that this is Cross’ panic mode; when in doubt or possibly unsafe, revert back to guard training. Poor guy was so nervous when Nightmare first brought him in.

As for Error; he’s the guy who enjoys what he enjoys, no matter how contrasting they might be, and has no shame in that.

Regarding your latest bad sans poly, can I ask what was the reason for Cross being awake in the middle of the night, since it was stated it wasn't because of Chara taking control? Sorry if it's a dumb question

Hi Anon, sorry if it was confusing but it actually was because of Chara. Cross did a bit of a half-truth to Dust, saying one of his powers would go out of control if he slept but not saying that it was because an emo kid ghost would possess him if he slept. Dust knew that just ‘my power goes out of control’ wasn’t the complete answer but, since Cross confirmed that he had told Nightmare the truth, trusted Nightmare to know what was best.

Cross would later divulge the truth to the rest of the bad sans, but at this point in time, their relationships were still too new for him to be comfortable sharing something so private, especially since it would most likely lead to questions about his past that he wasn’t ready to answer.

I’m not in Uni anymore. I graduated almost two years ago. I studied Animation, mostly focusing on 3D but also doing some 2D stuff (both traditional and digital), as well as learning other parts of the 3D job spectrum.
