Honestly, I've liked him as an actor for AGES; he's always been cute, and I love his voice and all, but that was it. However, that was my brain overshadowing the signs of a severe case of brain rot. Since I watched a clip of him as the 12th doctor about a month ago, I knew I was hooked. Then I watched The Lair of the White Worm, and now he has me in a chokehold! (I blame the fluffiest curls and those angelic features, ugh.)

I'm thinking of doing a side blog for my OCs, but I'm really not sure if anyone would be interested. All my OC's are essentially my take on different horror tropes, focusing on a more victorian/romantic gothic vibe. All the OC's have photoplayers (is this correct?) from my favourite fandoms. I plan on writing for them a story between 3 and 10 chapters, each, since they're all part of a horror/gothic anthology called Thorned Roses in the Garden of Evil.

Mateo already has a series going on (Sanguis Maledictus aka The Demon, the Heretic and the Corrupted), as he was the first, but the others are still TBA, but idk, maybe I could write them drabbles and some of you could interact sharing your thoughts. Idk, I never did anything like it.

In reference to this post…I saw you say phantom of the opera royal Albert hall 2011 and…just gotta get this off my chest- the look back that Christine does at the very end as she’s going up the stairs and the the NOD Eric does that tells her it’s okay MY HEAAAART!!!! It was improvised for that one performance but it ruins me ever. Time.

The way she HESITATES to leave him, even though he has done so much harm to her and those around her, at that moment, I pictured that Christine was not only pitying him; she actually realized that everything he did came from a place of love (even a very distorted one) and solitude. She nurtured feelings for him, for the good in him. OH, MY HEART!! And Raoul KNOWS she's not hesitating because she doesn't love him, but because she cares about Erik in such a loving way 😭😭that's just… complicated.

I love everything about this particular version, especially Ramin Karimloo's, Hadley Fraser's, and Sierra Bogess' acting choices, like, BITCHES YOU GAVE ME TRAUMA!!

There's a reason it's my most-logged film on Letterboxd xD

I love you for sharing this fun fact with me because I had forgotten about it, and now I'm tempted to re-watch it again!

Yeah, this man is living in my head rent-free, you already know the drill. But today is COMBO DAY!

Last song: Pure Imagination by Gene Wilder from Willy Wonka's and the Chocolate Factory. I don't know, when it is really cosy and rainy I like to hear vintage songs and oldies, but this one specifically was in my head today, which is curious because it has been years since I last heard it.

Last Book: Currently re-reading The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien, honestly it's been so long since the last time, I'm feeling nostalgic, like it is the first time :)

Last Movie: Late Night With the Devil (2023) and it is so cool, I'm just sad they used a bit of AI for a couple little things instead of calling actual artists, but nonetheless the film is marvellous, and it brought back full force my crush of David Dastmalchian!

Last TV Show: Re-watching Game of Thrones bc I'm thinking abt a small ass idea I had for a fic the first time I watched, and it came back to haunt me last month.

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: I would usually say spicy, but I'm in NEED of a big moist piece of dark chocolate cake that I can't have, so I'll say sweet this once ;-;

Relationship status: Single, but sometimes I wish someone could [REDACTED] me, lol

Last thing I googled: where exactly is the “pituitary gland”, I don't know why, I just realized that I didn't know.

Current obsession(s): I'm in some kind of limbo where I have a huge amount of old obsessions coming back at once, like, David Datstamalchian, Gareth Snook, Aidan Gillen and Bea Arthur (bc apparently I obsess over the character and THEN the performer). So I'm not sure which one is my current one, but if you have a look at my archive you'll know haha

Looking Forward To: The end of my professor's strike, so I can normalize my classes, but it will take 4 months or until the government pay them their salaries (and mine bc I'm also a teacher). Also, the overcome of my writer's block, lol.

So, ahn, hi! I'm not dead, no, it's just that college is drying my soul out, and I don't have much time any more. HOWEVER, I've managed to create a playlist for my newly old obsession: Dr. Philip K. Decker aka ol' button face, played by everybody's favourite old man David Cronenberg! I hope you guys enjoy because this is the first thing unrelated to college that I do in a while.
