"I’ve noticed some really interesting difference in reactions between people who watched Carmilla as it aired and people who watched it in one go." oh definitely. i binged s1 couple of hours one night. when i started s2 they had just realised episode 30, which woahhh boy, heck of an episode for me to end with and having to wait that few days for the next one.
Yeah, that was a great episode to drop in for. Dang. I got my friend to watch all of Carmilla recently and we watched each season in one sitting. After, I asked her if she thought the plot of the second season made sense and when she’d figured out about Dean!Perry...these seemed to be two things brought up a lot over the release of season 2. She said the plot seemed to make sense to her and she had thought something was off with Perry but hadn’t really realized the extent until pretty late on in the show. Obviously this is just one person’s reaction, but I really do think the difference is interesting to observe.

Yeah. She was cool to talk to, and the food was good. I really don't know what dating entails; I guess I'd have to go out on a second and a third with the same person to tell if I grow more attracted to them with time.

yeah, i’m on episode 6, pretty much hooked. oh, i know you’re not in germany any more but i’m going back two weeks today! off to Berlin with mum for 12 nights, can’t waaaaait.
ahhh really? berlin is great! (and i'm actually not far from germany.) i'm so jelly you get to stay for 12 nights! i only got 3-4 nights or so? but i had a wonderful time when i was there. are you guys planning to visit any cities near berlin (hamburg, etc.) as well? or just berlin? be sure to take sandeman's free walking tour!
