For the Phoenix Enchantment AU, what if the way Stan sacrifices himself to stop Bill is with a supercharge phoenix fire. Ford probably read about it in his Bestiary about it being the last line of defence for a phoenix, a dangerous self ignition with no guarantee of actually resurrecting like normal afterwards. To save his family, Stan decides to take the risk. His family then watching in fear when he burns away Bill with super-heated blue fire!

Additional: Everyone thinks Stan is dead and gone when all that is left but ashes but Mabel refuses to believe and talks about her summer whilst Angie cries... the combination of the magic of a phoenix's tears and his family's love brings him back!

I’m confident. That was hard-earned but I like this whole confidence thing. I think I’m keeping it.

Dangie AU: What is the most romantic gesture Dan has ever done for Angie?

Ooooooh that’s an interesting question...

I don’t know if there’s a set, single most romantic gesture.  I think that the most romantic things Dan does for Angie are when he actively tones himself down (volume-wise, especially) to take care of her when she’s sick, or upset, or what have you.  it takes a lot of effort on his part, but he does it to make sure Angie is comfortable.  Angie’s used to loud noises and boisterous personalities, but she needs a calm partner during difficult times, and Dan makes sure to do that.

...yeah, that sounds about right.

Of the Stangie kids - which one would be 1) most likely to steal cookies and blame it on someone else 2) bring home random animals 3) accidentally get the family cursed in a manner that involves wacky hijinks to cure?

1) Daisy.  She’s the one who raises the most hell out of Stangie’s small horde of hell-raisers.

2) Again, Daisy.  She has an interest in biology, like her ma.  But Emily’s a close second.

3) Emmett.  For no particular reason.  It just feels like he’s the one for that.

Okay, here's an ask for you! Is there a MerGucket equivalent of Apple the not dog?

...Yes.

His name is Bubbles and he’s a cuttlefish, but Ford is convinced Bubbles is actually a variety of kraken.

Bubbles followed Stan home one day and the guppies got attached to him so quickly that Stan and Angie didn’t have the heart to shoo the cuttlefish away.

He’s actually part cuttlefish and part hafgufa.  Bubbles likes coming on patrols of the mer colony with Stan and Angie.

How do you think Stan and Angie McGucket would react to stan and Angie MerGucket (if we assume the respective Fords did a thing to make universe borders wibbly wobbly). How much gushing about their respective sets children would go on?

The two Stans would immediately get into a battle to brag about their kids’ accomplishments.  “My Danny has almost twenty kids already and she’s an amazing mom to all of them!”  “Well, my Danny builds superweapons for the government!”

The two Angies would mostly just talk about the differences between being mer and human.  When they’re done with that, they’d start comparing their respective sets of kids, but in a positive way.  Not a competitive way like the Stans, who by that point are almost shouting at each other.  

If they get to meet the alternate reality Stangie kids, tho, both sets of parents gush over the children.  Gotta.  They’re so beautiful and talented, human or mer.
