I will forever maintain that one of the next uses of the Nintendo 3DS's double screen was in the opening for Kingdom Hearts 3D.

You start out with Mickey a la Sorcerer's Apprentice on the bottom screen conducting an orchestra, then on the top screen, the events of the previous games play out in the typical Kingdom Hearts opening recap fashion.

While things are playing out, Mickey is impacted. For example, the wind picks up, and Mickey has to struggle against the wind. And when Roxas shows up, Mickey splits into two Mickies.

But THEN

Suddenly, the things happening on the top screen are looking super dire and scary, and Mickey is looking up at the top screen in shock and horror. Until.

He throws off his cute little Sorcerer's Apprentice robes and JUMPS UP FROM THE BOTTOM SCREEN TO JOIN THE FRAY.

Flawless. No notes.
