Defeated the Ebony Warrior.  He is finally in Sovngarde.  Remade my new character into a Nord.

Ania is Swahili for protect and defend. They put out a line of afro-centric comics in the early 90's like Purge, Zwanna son of Zulu and Ebony Warrior.  The story is fairly basic, it's about a successful black writer, James "Komal" Jackson, who moves back to his hometown only to discover it's been overrun by crime!

"Something must be done! The streets are getting worse, Dad."   "What more can you do? You volunteer at the community center. You teach remedial math, science and reading. You even reach to the kids more than I do." "You can't fight the symptoms Dad, you have to fight the disease." A Hero is born.  But check out the artwork! The perspective on a lot of these pages is totally crazy. Steven X routhier really went all-out. The fight sequences are more like dream sequences. He does a great job constructing this strange world that Ebony Warrior inhabits full of storm clouds and dutch angles and hard streets. There is also this back-up story about this super-soldier, weapon-x type dude named Turner.That's where the drawing of the dude busting out of the tank is from. That's from a different artist (Mishindo I.). This comic is full of early-90's-boom awesomeness.
