Ebow is a german rapper, rapping about sexism, homophobia and racism in germany. Her kurdish alevi grandparents came as guest workers to Germany and she grew up in Munich. She finished her masters degree in 2015 but has been rapping since a teenager. Her music mixes her middle eastern background with anatolian sounds and electro and lyrics about sexism, homophobia, racism, but also about politics about Germanys military exports for example or turkish nationalism.
