Happy New Year from EC! #ec14 (at Calvary Chapel Conference Center Murrieta Hot Springs)
"You need the Eucharist. You need Jesus. If you think you can live a Christian life without Jesus you are mistaken. You are not really living. 'I am the way, the truth and the life,' Jesus says. A Catholic without the Eucharist will not remain a strong Catholic for long. A Catholic without the Eucharist will become worldly. One's faith will become watered down, if he is not constantly being fed by Jesus."
Bishop Peter J. Jugis in his homily for the closing Mass of the 2014 Eucharistic Congress
O God who has accomplished the work of human redemption through the Paschal Mystery of Your only begotten Son, graciously grant that we who confidently proclaim under sacramental signs the death and resurrection of Christ may experience Your saving grace ...
excerpt from the opening prayer of Mass to conclude the 2014 Eucharistic Congress
Are you in the Charlotte, NC area today? Then come see our Lord at the Eucharistic Congress, then stop by our booth and say hi! We're so excited to be here and meet some awesome Christians!
Here are the pictures from the Rails Girls Beginner's Workshop at Eurocamp 2014 in Berlin.
How to solve the problem that women are the a small minor group in technology? You start something like Rails Girls. Starting from Helsinki the concept made it all over the world and we are here in Berlin having an international audience, women who want to take a look and perhaps want to become a developer, too.
That is why I am very proud to present how to make a great web design in the lighting talk to give an overview what you can do for users visiting your web site.
After that the women started to make their very first project in Ruby on Rails under instructions by the coaches who explained them the details. I am very proud that our group finished the tutorial.
If you want to become a Rails Girl student you might want to visit RailsGirls.com and watch out for the upcoming events.
In Berlin their will be the next Hackday on 20th of September. If you want to continue learning and working on your project, you might want to come. There will be coaches, too, to help you. Also many of the Rails Girls workshop groups come to hack together.
Please, apply here.

At this years Eurocamp at the Rails Girls Beginner's workshop I gave a speech about how to make a great web design. A very brief overview what to know about it, because it is important to make a web application useful. More than the design itself.
That's Hollande's fault.
Can I change my nationality or something ? Tonight is not a good moment to be French.
