CHARLOTTE — A strong faith in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist is critical to a Catholic's life, Bishop Peter Jugis said in his homily for the closing Mass of the 12th annual Eucharistic Congress.

It's special for me to come back as a priest. It was the 2006 Eucharistic Procession which served as a catalyst toward my vocation to the priesthood.  To come full circle is just amazing.

Father Cory Catron, of St. Mark Church in Huntersville, who has attended the Eucharistic Congress for the past 11 years, and this year is his first as a priest.
