I designed 10 signboards for the paper factories and shrines etc in the Echizen paper village to guide the JCB tourists from all over Japan. I tried to express the myth of the paper goddess as the decorative ornaments of the signboards. JTBさんのツアーに参加された観光客が、各工房や見所スポットに立ち止まった際に歴史などを読み取れる看板10種をデザインさせていただきました。川上御前がこの地に紙漉きを教えに降りてこられた物語で看板を飾りたく、心を込めてデザインさせていただきました。ますます越前和紙の素晴らしさを知ってもらえるチャンスにつながっていきますように✨。
