My hindges recently broke off and I think they might be lost in the ocean so. That might mean more content here *shrug*

Due to what my friend group server has dubbed “My wayward children autism” I’ve done a lot.

I’ve made OCs, made worlds, started a book, designed my own world, l I’ve started on worlds for a few friends in the server.

My own personal world is one I share with one of my OCs and I like to think we’d be friends while in the door. We probably never would’ve met outside of it: state lines and life circumstances.

But inside of it, where we were free and we were chosen and music was magic, we’d have met once. I would’ve been a side character in her story, she made a lot of choices and did a lot of things I don’t think I would’ve if I also got a door.

But I’d get to be there and I’d get to be her friend, and after a lot of things happened and quite a bit of time happened, I’d mourn her for one reason or another and maybe I’d never see her again. Maybe.

In a universe of magic doors that don’t always care what you want, nobody is ever truly gone forever.

Not a nurotypical and my brain is currently obsessed with the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire and you KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS-

I like to make OCs two ways: sometimes they force their way into my brain space halfway formed and demanding to be realized. But most begin as a question.

What would happen if Mariposa had an equal and opposite reaction of a world and who would go there?

Made em both- Marie and her world <3

What would happen to a trans kid who went through their door, transitioned and came back? No time shenanigans like Kade got?

Made her! Celia’s a very fun girl to throw into those Situations

Who would stay and stay and stay at the school with Kade, never wanting for another door, finding our wicked little corner of the universe enough?

I couldn’t handle the idea of him just being alone at the school so I made the answer. For him, for me, for herself too.

Then there’s the twins. The girls who came into my head half-formed without a question on them and then they wouldn’t leave. I love them both <3

Then I threw em all into each other, had a BLAST and now there’s a fucking fanfiction book in the works about them-it’s named For The Broken Doors. Which is the first time I’ve ever been able to give anything like this a name. I’m still having a blast and like. I’m proud of myself, which is new. I’m legitimately proud of myself over this…wow… (I’m writing this rather stream of consciousness so-)

It’s fun to take a world like this and stretch it like chewing gum or slime. To work in its conventions to create things I think are fun or amazing or funny.

I’ve grown to love these girls and I’m starting to love the adventure they go on together. I’m still putting together the pieces of how they got the ways they are.

Ion know it’s just. Fun and makes me happy. I’m glad I’ve finally said something about them cuz DAMN they’ve been hard to talk about- I hope this can be a space for that, which is why I made a tag
