The skincare update,

Spending more time at home has meant I’ve had all this extra time to really start looking after myself more. Since I would normally be rushing to work in the mornings I didn’t always follow my normal skincare routine or I’d come gone late tired and couldn’t be bothered to do a whole routine. But since I’ve been working from home I’d had this extra time to myself I would probably spend travelling.
So I decided to repurchase one of my favourite skincare products which is the Revolution Skincare Pink Clay Detoxifying Sheet Masks, £8.00. I love this set of mask because first of all it makes my skin feel amazing and second of all you get 5 packs of sheet masks for £8.00 such a bargain! These masks are amazing for hydrating your skin and giving it real deep clean. I find when I use the is mask by the time the 20mins are up my face has absorbed all the solution from the mask and almost leaves the mask dry which shows much my skin needs it. I use these masks once a week normally on a Friday to help give my skin a real deep cleanse after a week of makeup. Funnily enough I’ve started wearing masks while I’m working from home since no one can see you but the second my zoom goes off I have to do the sorry cam not working lol. Happened to me more times then it should 🙈
Since I’ve been at home more and not doing too many non essential shopping trips to the drugstore, I decided to pick something up to use in my skincare routine to stop myself being cotton pads and wasting them. In the sales online I found that Clinique sells a double pack of Take The Day Off Cleansing clothes. Instead of creating waste with my makeup rubbish you use these cloths each time you do your skincare routine and then when you’re done you put them in the wash to be cleaned and then use the next day. Sounds silly but it had made such a difference to my skincare routine. The clothes are perfect to cleanse your face and reach every stop of your face without having to constantly repurchase cotton pads. Personally I wish I had bought these sooner because they really have become handy in my routine . So if you’re looking for a way to be more echo friendly with your skincare why not check out the clothes I think the duo was around £10 because it’s Clinique but I’m sure you can find cheaper alternatives.
