Summary:

John Murphy - known in every life prior as a God named Hermes - had very little experience with the actual Gods. He had played the role expected of him quite a few times but it had never been the perfect iteration that he can imagine the actual God had carried back at his peak.

But at least he is not alone.

He, however, would be more comforted if Echo Azgeda, reborn into Artemis or Bellamy Blake, a reborn Ares, at least had the decency to not be threateningly and seductively good at being Gods.

He's more than a little pissed --

At himself and at his ribbon-string heart.

Becoming the independent Goddess of the Hunt, of whom had taken a vow as to not let a man into her life whatsoever, had not been the best for Echo.

Especially not after she met two very cute boys she liked.

It can't be rule breaking...if she's in charge, her broken logic insists and she knows its stupid.

She does, okay!

But John Murphy pinned under her, looking up at her with awe in his water blue eyes as Bellamy Blake presses kisses to her neck, that feeling is gone.
