Summary:

Bellamy and Murphy had known each other in Uni but when Bellamy had grown up and found himself in a band with his beautiful girlfriend and a good friend called 'Walk Across The Stars', he had never imagined he could be here.

But Monty's girlfriend, Harper, is pregnant and he wishes to be there to help her with it. And, God, they couldn't deny him of that.

So they're auditioning new guitarists and that's -- that's where John Murphy enters stage left.

And their hearts.

After reading @BeaRyan Fic about John sleeping (nonsexually) with Bellamy and Echo after a fight with Emori I can’t get it out of my head. Just imagine Echo being the person he goes too after fights to calm down and this fight happens late at night and he says he’ll just sleep on the floor. But instead, Echo and Bellamy let him sleep in between them and at first, he thinks it stupid and he feels like a kid. But over time he starts to crave the warmth and comfort of being between them. He finally has a place he feels safe and loved. Bellamy and Echo love him and want him to feel loved so they ask him move in with them.

003 + Murphy?

How I feel about this character: I love him with my entire being. He is my son.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Mainly Emori even though I’m down for Murphamy or Bechophy.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Probably him and Echo even though I could ship them romanticly as well. Their dynamic is wonderful.

My unpopular opinion about this character: ehhh I don’t really have a unpopular opinion about him. Maybe that I think him telling off Clarke was GOLD and that she deserved 100% of it. Is that unpopular? I try to ignore pro Clarke posts anyway.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: That his and Emori’s breakup and reconciliation had more development.
