today at work cool kids by echosmith was playing while i was making this person a coffee and they were like ‘i dont think being like the cool kids makes you a cool kid, i think being urself makes u pretty cool’ so i suggested - thats maybe what the person singing the song actually meant- and i saw the moment their brain exploded from this revelation
