4, 5, and 10 (weird asks)?
4. What villain do you believe is most worthy of a redemption arc?
if we’re talking villains who have received a redemption arc, and don’t judge me for this– Virgil Sanders. I started watching Sanders Sides before Accepting Anxiety was out and watching him go from Anxiety to Virgil in real time was one of the sweetest, blessed, most healing experiences I have ever been witness to
also I’m not sure if Hazel from The Umbrella Academy counts? is he considered redeemed? either way I love him and genuinely hope he’s happy
oh and!! Steve Harrington!! from Stranger Things!! not a true ‘villain’ really, but I hated his guts in the beginning and he really turned around. what a guy (’:
if we’re talking villains who haven’t received a redemption arc… Catra. I’m so sad. I’m so, so sad about Catra. I haven’t talked about She-Ra at all on my blog and this is why. I’m not over it.
5. What was your favorite school project you ever made?
deep in my iTunes library there is nestled a fifteen-minute mp3, dated 2010, titled ‘Antigone.’ it is a dramatic and absolutely terrible rendering of the famed Greek tragedy by the same name, done in a sort-of book-on-tape format. it is narrated by me, and the characters are voiced by my two older brothers and sister-in-law. it is ridiculous, a disgrace, an absolute injustice to the honour, tone, and intent of the original story. it probably tells you a lot about the kind of family I come from. every time I listen to it I end up cry-laughing.
I got an A+.
10. What book have you been avoiding reading and why?
uhhhhhhhh all of them, because executive function machine broke
