welcome to solar eclipse week, a week-long event centered around the romantic (or queerplatonic) pairing of heart and mind (from chonny's charming chaos compendium)!

it'll run from may 24th to may 30th. fanfiction and fanart are both allowed.

mods are mod purple (me at @homoeroticjunoincident, the one that made the banner), mod blue (@birdboy-blues) and mod red (@lunar-perihelion). you should check out all of our blogs for some awesome cccc art :D

this post will be updated with the prompt list whenever it's made, which will be as soon as possible. for now, i encourage any and all prompt recommendations!

this poll is to get a vague idea of how many people would participate or at least be interested in the event. making it either way though - check @solar-eclipse-week

feel free to ask any questions abt what it’d be like and such. please please tell me if there’s any overlapping event or event that’d make it redundant - the current plan is it to run from may 24th to may 30th, as that’s the week of may 29th (solar eclipse!) but this is subject to change based on any events running close to then or my own (/my potential co-conspirator’s) business at the time.

solar eclipse is the ship between heart and mind. the plan is to allow romantic or queerplatonic submissions - the point of the event would be to put a spotlight on their specifically romantic or qpr dynamic! i was gonna say that it was subject to change, but i’ll be honest, i’m a cjshipper at heart and i couldn’t stand that /silly

there would be prompts, but they would be more of a suggestion than a rule. here’s the current plan for the prompt structure!

there wouldn’t be any restrictions besides a) solar eclipse is the primary ship and focus and b) properly tag and warn. here’s more indepth ask

also. you would not have to participate all seven days!!! no one’s asked but i wanna make it clear!!!! any amount of participation would be welcomed, even a sketch or a drabble!

i’m not planning to wait a full week since if this goes through i want to give people as much time to prepare as possible, also cause i’m impatient, i plan to just get a temperature over the next few days or so and go based off that
