maybe im not following the right blogs or i havent been online at the right time, but something i havent seen being talked about wrt the new biden “anti terrorist” bill is that “animal and environmental rights extremists” are part of the special groups listed which is like.

i guess everyone’s taking it to mean fuck PETA and militant veganism (which MIGHT be a good side effect of this) but this has REALLY bad implications for things such as oil pipeline protests and general conservation efforts led by indigenous activists

I got offered a morally difficult job. I was approached by someone who wants to give me a good job working on a pot farm in California. That works well for me and will be the end of me cleaning toilets and sleeping on random people’s couches. The unfortunate thing is that the person offering the job is a capitalist who is part of pharma and wants me to grow the pot to sell it as a commercialized medicine. She’s given me this week in her condo out in he Gulf of Mexico to think about it. I’m definitely going to have to turn this down... but it’s going to be hard
