cars and ther eco badge
Nowadays you can not get around it anymore, every new car has an ECO badge. and one car is even more "ECO' than the other. some even paint ther car green to show how economical ther car is. but why we are suddenly all care about it? well, thats becaus regoverments made such a rules that cars with an eco badge are cheaper to buy, or the pay less road taxes. and we don't wana make the green maffia mad, those people who moan about every little thing of environmental pollution. I work in the package dilivery service. and one day I was diliver a package by somebody. it took about 3 minutes to diliver it. and I was about to leave again and than a man walked to me saying: "you should have cut your engine off, you caused environmental pollution" eeehm, yeah right.
yes ofcourse we do all care about the environment, and the climate is changeing. but we don't wana turn the heater down in the house well we are gone, becaus than it's cold when we come back. so we go to a lockal car dealer. buy an car with an eco badge give a wink to johnny the polarbear and we have a good feeling that we are saveing the planet. but are we?
like, my dad is drive an opel Astra. and like all new opel's, it got a "eco flex" badge. it means you can turn on and off the eco mode. so a few months ago I was on a long drive through germany in the Astra and diside to turn the eco mode off. I was aspect now flames would burst out of the exhaust and the rev counter would color compleetly red, and the engine would get 200 more break horsepower and, but no, that didn't happen. in fact, nothing changed at all. the only difrence now was that the car didn't told me anymore when to change gear. so acctualy that whole eco badge thing, is the biggest bulls*it ever! a big joke. becaus in the car ther is only 1 eco system, and thats you, the driver. if you change gear on time and keep the RMP's low, you can make the car dirve as economical as you want. you don't need an eco badge for that.
