Is this an important fight? Are there greater issues in your world? In the world? I will continue to have an opinion too. Appropriate dress for appropriate circumstance. Would you like to see your teacher dress as a teen does? I wouldn’t.
I am sure that there are greater issues in the world. However, as a high school student, this bothers me. I am not saying that people should dress like whores or strippers- merely that we, as students, should be able to have some realistic standard- bra straps should be allowed to show. I don't break the dress code- in fact, for a high school student, I dress rather conservatively. I just feel that the school is going to enforce a dress code, the dress code should apply to all students, not just girls. If that means that tank tops, no matter the gender, aren't allowed, then that is what should happen. Yes, there are greater issues in my world, but this is something that I am passionate about, and will continue to be passionate about, as I feel that it is unjust, and favors the males in my school, who are already favored. The world needs to understand that it isn't a girl's fault if she turns a guy on- this is the males problem, not the way a girl dresses...
