I can always tell when the sunlight starts changing from my houseplants before I ever notice that, like, it's staying light later. Most of them just sort of hang out over the winter, one or two are real dramatic about it being their down time, though. One of them, I always have a minor panic about basically the whole pot of plants dying, in unison, around late November, and this year I finally remembered. Anyway, that one, the prayer plants, have poked up new leaves and will probably be full and blooming by March.
